Atom User Reviews for The Metropolitan Opera: Aida
This was a wonderful way to see an operatic performance first-hand. We have been to the met several times, usually the nosebleed seats! This time we saw everything up close, got behind the scenes views, it was perfect!
Great cast. Best production. Love watching the behind the curtain stage changes between acts
Excellent production. Well produced and acted. Voices were incredible. I enjoyed the interviews of the principles. We’ll be back!
Wonderful performance. Deep talent and a joy to see and hear/
I enjoyed every minute of Aida!
Such a beautiful production, great singing and a fabulous orchestra
Intermissions were too long. I'd rather get back to the performance than listen to interviews. I hope Donald Trump never sees a performance of Aida with all of the Met's production features. Might start him thinking about a parade again.
Wonderful cast, excellent sets, and great behind-the-curtain views during intermissions. we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thoroughly enjoyed all the behind the scenes of how the sets are moved and changed - amazing! Enjoyed the interviews with cast members, and others involved. All those extras made for a long stay, but were well worth it!!!
During the intermission, we loved the interviews with the major performers and seeing how the elaborate sets or changed. Also we could probably see more than we could if we are actually at the met, as we love music and like to see the conductor of the performers .
The interviews of the main stars increased my understanding of how much dedication and importance of not only their awesome voice but their expressions to get across their emotions
If you can't be at the live opera at the Metropolitan Opera, this Fathom Event will make you feel like you were actually there.
Incredible voices, fantastic sets, and great orchestra doing one of the grandest of all grand operas.
