I actually watched this last night but forgot to log it I never heard of this film until right before watching it was recommended by my wife and of course she fell asleep half way through and I’m now watching alone. It was ok I didn’t really start to get into it until…
Keenan WellsDec 16, 2024Labeling The Man in The White Van as a true story or true crime is highly misleading but it is an intense little low budget thriller, after you get past the anemic opening and some of, if not, the most annoying jump scare music ever put in a film. The last half of the movie…
William CooperJan 9, 2025This was a pretty good movie in my opinion I enjoyed it a lot honestly. Why I didn't give it 5 stars was because it dragged a little bit in the middle portion but it picked up the pace at the last portion of the movie. The story was unoriginal there's a lot of movies like…

The Man in the White Van wasn’t a disappointment because I wasn’t expecting much to begin with—just an okay film—but it turned out to be outright bad. The acting is subpar, with performances that feel wooden and fail to bring any life to the story. Even though the movie…
Christian HaMay 22, 2025I dug this a lot, and by the looks of everyone else’s scores I may be the only person that did. Retro throwback slasher vibes with some genuinely creepy moments and immaculate 1970s recreation. Great to see Ali Larter too, it’s been a while since I’ve seen her.

The timestamps didn’t make sense to me but it was a good movie.
I liked this. It progressively got better over time. The first act was not great, the second act was good, and the third act was great. I don’t normally care for PG-13 horror, but this was a rare exception. The apple orchard scene was very well done.

I actually enjoyed this one. The film drags in the middle, but the first and third acts are great. The performances are also really solid.
This was good, it'll let you feel like kicking your TV at some point because some characters are so annoying. But overall it's worth it

A little slow to start, but once it gets moving, it's a hell of a ride. Also, serious kudos for making a film set in the 1970s look and feel like a 1970s movie (in the best way possible)!! Could have done with a little less sound effects, if only because the film would have still conveyed the same sense of suspense and tension without them. But overall, well worth a watch!
The review SA left is spot on. Pleasantly surprised with an ending I did not expect!
