Finally a wonderfully done movie about Jesus and his crucifixion that is told and depicted in a way for all to understand. So happy and amazed how Christinas and the birth of Jesus was explained through to why we celebrate Easter. Can’t wait to watch this every year at Easter .

The King of Kings does offer a theologically accurate message that’s largely about being kind and helping the needy. If you fast-forwarded through all of the Dickens nonsense, it would make an adequate introduction for a young child looking to learn the basics of the Christian faith.

It’s impossible to watch a film in which Jesus Christ says it’s wrong to profit from religion and then watch the filmmakers panhandle for profit at the end. At least, not without imagining the screen getting struck by lightning.
