One of the best Christian animated films I've ever seen. I give it a 2/5
SabersparkApr 11, 2025Jesus had no nipples when he was being crucified, can't tell whether or not I want angel studios to go bankrupt
NevusisJul 8, 2025“If you have faith, you’ll become stronger than before.” This is an excellent adaptation that was able to keep my four year old son engaged while remaining faithful to the Bible. It beautifully portrays the life of Jesus Christ from birth through to the crucifixion (PG…

Walter: If It's Not About A King, I'm Not Interested. Charles: This Story Is About The King Of Kings. ________________________ As a practicing Christian, I’ve always wondered why we rarely get quality films that represent our faith well. Good Christian films are few and…

mollyluvApr 6, 2025My parents only let me watch Disney and church related things on Sunday so my options are pretty limited. Luckily because she doesn’t have a big understanding of movies I can sneak some stuff past her. She currently believes that cloudy with a chance of meatballs is a…

Can't believe I paid 5 bucks to watch the full version of Superbook when I could've just watched it for free on YouTube
ValTheMovieGuyJun 15, 2025Actually the animation and voice acting was pretty good. Wasn’t that engaging for most of it but it made up for it with Jesus’s hype moments and aura.

Overall, I really enjoyed this film. There’s something incredibly moving about reading Scripture and then watching it come to life on screen, it filled me with a deep sense of joy and awe. Seeing these stories animated with such care was truly special. From a storytelling perspective (and I know…
Rating: 6.8/10 A visually distinct, star-studded retelling of the Gospel with a strong emotional core. Highlights - Unique Framing Device: Charles Dickens tells the story to his son Walter, making it accessible to children. - Stellar Voice Cast: Oscar Isaac, Kenneth Branagh, and Mark Hamill…

I thought it was rather poorly executed. It just consists of visualization of direct quotes from scripture with only partial context. Also, the characters in the story were really ugly for some reason unlike meta narrative characters. I liked the kid, I guess.
It was great. Awesome for kids to understand the story of Jesus in a very simple way. Well done even though the 12 apostles looked a little wack in the animation. I doubt that Andrew had an 8 inch forehead with a perfectly square skull 😂

Best movie i mean the story was on point and it really shows the kids jesus’s life. My little brother loved it and understood the whole story. i started crying near the end of the movie. Beautiful representation!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really like the blend of story telling and having us follow along with Walter. -in my opinion, Great way of introducing the story of Jesus to young ones with out the pressure of specific narrative.

DHDevin hildebrandGreat for kids. A decent story of Jesus‘s life. it is not exactly accurate, but it’s a good starter for kids.
NGNE GosswattFinally a wonderfully done movie about Jesus and his crucifixion that is told and depicted in a way for all to understand. So happy and amazed how Christinas and the birth of Jesus was explained through to why we celebrate Easter. Can’t wait to watch this every year at…
