Atom User Reviews for The Front Room
While this movie was not what I expected, it was great seeing Brandy back on the big screen. This film touched on racism, religious extremism, and maternal-inflicted trauma, all while providing some comedic relief.
Brandy Was Amazing Per Usual!!!
It was horrible and the plot wasn’t good at all. Should’ve been a Netflix movie
See it for Brandy!!!!
I didn’t like it at all
Worst movie ever
Never trust old grandmas. 😂
I would give it a zero but it’s not offered. Not what I was expecting. Kind of gross. The strangest weirdest movie I’ve ever seen. I kind of wanted to leave in the middle of it and I’ve only done that in 2 other movies. I would not waste your money see anything else but that. See something twice, but not this. Sorry Brandy you played a great part. It was just a strange movie.
I supported the movie because I love me some Brandy!
I absolutely hated this movie
More funny than anything else would rather seen something else never again
A couple funny moments but terrible overal

The Front Room perhaps leans more toward the repulsive than the highbrow, potentially carving out its own distinct genre niche.
Though it features delightfully weird visuals and a stellar turn by Kathryn Hunter, The Front Room can’t find its identity, both on-screen and in its own marketing.
The Front Room does capture one delicious, rich truth: hell hath no fury like a mother-in-law scorned.
