    • Driver: Girls watch out for the weirdos.
    • Nancy: We are the weirdos, mister.
    • Nancy: You know, in the old days, if a witch betrayed her coven, they would kill her.
    • Nancy: I drink of my sisters, and I take into myself... all the power of Manon.
    • Sarah: That's all?
    • Nancy: You know, if I were as pathetic as you are, I would have killed myself ages ago. You should get on with it.
    • Mr. Bailey: Can I help you?
    • Chris: No one can help me.
    • Rochelle: You guys, maybe he'll really listen to us now.
    • Nancy: If God and the Devil were playing football, Manon would be the stadium that they played on. It would be the sun that shone down on them.
    • Sarah: Who?
    • Rochelle: Manon.
    • Sarah: What's that? That's like God?
    • Bonnie: No. Man invented God. This is much older then that.
    • Sarah: Do you guys worship the devil?
    • [the other three girls laugh at Sarah]
    • Nancy: No. It's like God and the Devil. I mean, it's everything. It's the trees, it's the ground, it's the rocks, it's the moon... it's everything.
    • Sarah: It's nature.
    • Sarah: What's wrong with her?
    • Rochelle: Her spell's not working.
    • Bonnie: What spell?
    • Rochelle: I don't know. She doesn't want to be white trash anymore. I told her, "You're white honey! Just get over it."
    • Nancy: What's wrong with your scars, Sarah?
    • [Nancy slashes at Sarah's wrists with her dagger]
    • Sarah: It isn't real.
    • Nancy: Then why are you still bleeding? Run! Run to your up room like a little coward you are. She's so pathetic!
    • Rochelle: All these songs are by Connie Francis.
    • Grace: Yeah, isn't that great? Since I was a little girl all I've wanted in life was a jukebox that played nothing but Connie Francis records.
    • Bonnie: That's great.
    • Rochelle: Who's Connie Francis?
    • Grace: Who's Connie Francis? Honey, listen and learn! Connie Francis!
    • Nancy: Have you ever heard of invoking the spirit? It's when you call him... Manon. It's like... it's like you take him into you. It's like he fills you. He takes everything that's gone wrong in your life and makes it all better again.
    • Sarah: Nothing makes everything all better again.
    • Nancy: Maybe not for you...
    • Sarah: Relax... it's only magic. Now who's pathetic?
    • Chris: Sarah, come on, I mean... you look like you need to talk to somebody anyway.
    • Sarah: How do you know what I look like? We're talking on the phone.
    • [after finding out that Chris had tried to rape Sarah]
    • Nancy: I'm gonna go play.
    • Chris: Why didn't you answer the phone?
    • Sarah: It's three in the morning Chris.
    • Chris: Oh. Yeah, I guess that's a good reason... hey, you know, I was thinking we should move in together.
    • Sarah: I don't think I'm ready for that level of commitment.
    • Chris: Oh. Sarah, I can't stop thinking about you. I can't eat, I can't sleep. I think I love you. I've never loved anyone before... well, except for my mom and this little puppy I had when I was little...
    • Lirio: You know how to use candles?
    • Sarah: Yeah, you light the wick.
    • [Smiles]
    • Lirio: More than that.
    • Nancy: He comes on to anything with tits, Sarah.
    • Bonnie: Except me.
    • Sarah: I'm not watching him.
    • Nancy: He spreads disease.
    • [uncomfortablely]
    • Nancy: I speak from personal experience.
    • [after yelling at Chris]
    • Nancy: HE'S A JERK!
    • Nancy: So hot-stuff how did it go?
    • [hoping it wasn't true]
    • Rochelle: He said the same stuff about Nancy.
    • Nancy: Told you he was a jerk.
    • Sarah: How did what go?
    • Nancy: Your date with Chris.
    • Rochelle: Chris already told everybody.
    • [confused]
    • Sarah: Told everybody what?
    • Bonnie: That you guys "did it".
    • Sarah: But we didn't... do it.
    • Nancy: Well then he was just trying to save-face because he's going around the whole school saying that you were the "lousiest lay he's EVER had" and coming from him that's pretty bad.
    • [looking over to the other girls in the classroom who were giggling]
    • Sarah: UH UH.
    • Bonnie: The almanac says today will bring an arrival or something.
    • Nancy: Yeah, wonderful. I'm getting my rag.
    • Bonnie: A new wholeness and with it a new balance, earth air, fire, water... maybe it's our fourth!
    • Nancy: We don't need a fourth.
    • Bonnie: Nancy, We need someone to call the corners; North, South, East, and West.
    • Rochelle: Four would make a circle
    • Nancy: Maybe she could be our fourth?
    • [motions to female security guard]
    • Nancy: I love a woman in uniform!
    • Laura Lizzie: Oh God look, there is a pubic hair in my brush. Oh no wait, wait. That's just one of Rochelle's little nappy hairs.
    • Rochelle: Why are you doing this to me, Laura? Do you think you're funny?
    • Laura Lizzie: You really wanna know why?
    • Rochelle: Yes, I really wanna know why.
    • Laura Lizzie: Because I don't like negroids.
    • [noticing Sarah's cuts]
    • Nancy: What's up with that?
    • Rochelle: Well how do you know?
    • [embarrassed]
    • Sarah: I slit my wrists.
    • Bonnie: What you'd do it with?
    • Sarah: A-a kitchen knife.
    • [surprised]
    • Bonnie: You even did it the right way.
    • Sarah: Yeah...
    • [reassuring her]
    • Nancy: PUNK ROCK! Let's go.
    • Rochelle: The right way? How do you know the right way?
    • [defensive]
    • Bonnie: Shut up Rochelle.
    • Sarah: By the power of three times three, make them see, make them see.
    • [first lines]
    • BonnieNancyRochelle: Now is the time. This is the hour. Ours is the magic. Ours is the power. Now is the time. This is the hour. Ours is the magic. Ours is the power
    • [Repeat]
    • [In French class]
    • Mitt: You know this is L.A. We should be learning Mexican or something.
    • Chris: That would be Spanish, genius.
    • Lirio: Are you going to pay for those?
    • Sarah: Uh-huh.
    • Lirio: You're not like your friends.
    • [Of witchcraft]
    • Sarah: You guy's are really into all this?
    • [dismissively]
    • Bonnie: Sort of.
    • Sarah: You know I've never read anything about this stuff before. I mean, I don't follow it.
    • Lirio: Maybe you are a natural witch. Your power comes from within.
    • Chris: Sara?
    • Sarah: Yeah?
    • [seems to lose confidence]
    • Chris: Nevermind.
    • [referring to Sara's spell]
    • Bonnie: It's working!
    • Sarah: That or he's gone completely crazy.
    • [Braiding a strand of Laura's hair into Rochelle's]
    • Sarah: Laura really has split ends.
    • Rochelle: Really?
    • Sarah: I guess this confirms she's not a natural blonde.
    • Rochelle: Bleach!
    • [tone becomes contemplative]
    • Rochelle: What do you think will happen to Laura?
    • Sarah: I don't know. If she leaves you alone, nothing will happen to her. Nothing good.
    • Homeroom Teacher: Homeroom starts at 8:45 sharp!
    • [Not caring]
    • Bonnie: Sorry, my pedicure ran late.
    • Sarah: I need help to undo a love spell.
    • [Matter-of-fact]
    • Lirio: When you open a flood gate, how can you undo it? You unleash something with a spell. There is no undoing; it must run it's course.
    • Nancy: You should let him suffer.
    • Lirio: It's not for you to judge suffering.
    • [to Sara, Bonnie, and Rochelle]
    • Lirio: True magic is neither black, nor white - it's both because nature is both. Loving and cruel, all at the same time.
    • [Bonnie and Rochelle laugh. Sara stares, taking in every word of Lirio's speech, as she continues]
    • Lirio: The only good or bad is in the heart of the witch. Life keeps a balance on its own. You understand?
    • [giggling]
    • Rochelle: Not really.
    • [Bonnie laughs. Sara continues to listen patiently to Lirio]
    • [tone becomes slightly stern]
    • Lirio: Well, then understand this: whatever you send out there you get back times three.
    • [No longer laughing, but still skeptical, as is Bonnie]
    • Rochelle: Wait, we didn't read that in any book.
    • [Matter-of-fact]
    • Lirio: No, it's part of a basic spiritual truth. Said in many ways in many faiths: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
    • [Performing the spell to evoke the spirit; calling the corners]
    • Nancy: Hail to the guardians of the watchtowers of the East, the powers of air and invention. Hear me! Us! Hear us!
    • Bonnie: Hail to the guardians of the watchtowers of the South, the powers of fire and feeling. Hear us.
    • Rochelle: Hail to the guardians of the watchtowers of the West, powers of water and intuition. Hear us.
    • Sarah: Hail to the guardians of the watchtowers of the North, by the powers of mother and earth. Hear us.
    • Nancy: Aid us in our magical workings on this May's eve.
    • [pause]
    • [Continues with a new chant]
    • Nancy: Serpent of old, ruler of the deep. Guardian of the bitter sea. Show us your glory. Show us your power! We pray of thee, we pray of thee. We invoke thee.
    • [lightening crashes]
    • [Talking to Chris about Bonnie, Rochelle and Nancy]
    • Sarah: When I started hanging out with them I was almost relieved... I didn't have many close friends in San Francisco. It just felt really nice to belong.
    • [shakes her head]
    • Sarah: I disagreed with them once and they turned their backs on me. That's not friendship.
    • Chris: Yeah, you know sometimes it's like we're one person. Know what I mean?
    • [confused]
    • Sarah: No, I'm not sure.
    • [laughs]
    • Chris: I'm not sure either! That's so funny, I was just thinking "I have no idea what I'm talking about".
    • Lirio: Sarah, you have a tremendous light inside you... more so than any witch I've ever known. You must not be afraid.
    • [Scared]
    • Sarah: I can't control it. I always end up hurting someone.
    • [reaches down, touches the ring on Sarah's finger]
    • Lirio: Do you hear the voice of your mother?
    • Sarah: What about her?
    • Lirio: She's telling you to be strong. She was a witch too, of course. Didn't you know?
    • [Shakes head]
    • Sarah: No.
    • Lirio: You can defeat those who challenge you, but you must surrender yourself to the higher power.
    • [Lights candles]
    • Lirio: You must invoke the spirit.
    • [protesting]
    • Sarah: But it made Nancy crazy.
    • Lirio: She takes it to a dark place.
    • [pause]
    • Lirio: Don't be afraid.
    • [Taps Nancy on the shoulder and steps out of a full length mirror]
    • Sarah: Oh, did I frighten you? I'm sorry.
    • Bonnie: We were just wondering; do you still have any powers?
    • Rochelle: 'Cause we don't.
    • [Bonnie shots her a look]
    • Rochelle: Sorry.
    • Sarah: So, if you ever just want to hang out and chant or call the corners...
    • [scathing]
    • Sarah: Maybe. Hold your breath until I call.
    • [Turns away]
    • [as she and Bonnie start walking away]
    • Rochelle: She probably doesn't have any powers anyway.
    • [Turns around with a look of concentration. Wind blows, clouds cover the sky. Lightening flashes; a bolt hitting a tree branch w]
    • Sarah: Be careful. You don't want to end up like Nancy.
    • Bonnie: So does stuff like tonight happen to you a lot?
    • Sarah: No. Not like that.
    • [pause]
    • Sarah: Other... stuff.
    • Rochelle: Where did you learn it?
    • Sarah: I don't know.
    • [Nods]
    • Bonnie: A natural witch.
    • [about her supposed "power"]
    • Sarah: I hate it; it's always getting screwed up. It's like... sometimes I'll... I'll want it to rain, and a pipe will burst in my bedroom, and it'll just get *flooded*
    • [Smiles slightly]
    • [Bonnie and Rochelle laugh with glee, Nancy looks skeptical]
    • Nancy: Yeah right.
    • Sarah: No, really! Or I'll want it just to be quiet and I'll wish for it and wish for it, and I'll go deaf for three days straight.
    • [Bonnie and Rochelle stare in awe, Nancy looks begrudgingly convinced]
    • [to Nancy about Sarah's love spell on Chris]
    • Rochelle: It's working! check it out; her spell is working. Oh my god, Nancy, would you look?
    • [Nancy glances over, looking annoyed]
    • Bonnie: I drink of my sisters, and I take into myself the power to be beautiful, outside as well as in.
    • [tentative]
    • Rochelle: Sarah?
    • [also tentative, but slightly more confident]
    • Bonnie: Hi Sarah, how are you?
    • [Slightly scornful]
    • Sarah: Good, then again I can sleep at night so... how are *you*.
    • Rochelle: We... want to apologize. We feel really bad about...
    • [Cuts her off]
    • Sarah: Trying to kill me?
    • [Performing a glamor spell]
    • Sarah: This is to feel/This is to be/Shape and form it/For all to see
    • [Still lackluster]
    • Bonnie: Oh.
    • [sounding unimpressed to the point of annoyance]
    • Nancy: You can do that with contacts.
    • [Reassuringly]
    • Bonnie: Yeah, but it's good. I mean, it suits you.
    • [lackluster]
    • Rochelle: Subtle.
    • [adds reassuringly]
    • Rochelle: but good!
    • Sarah: You want something bigger?
    • [Now excited]
    • Nancy: I want bigger!
    • [moves her hands to cover her eyes]
    • Sarah: By the power of three times three/As I will it/So shall it be!
    • [Uncovers her eyes in a ta-da move]
    • [Nancy, Bonnie and Rochelle look around, confused]
    • Rochelle: What?
    • Sarah: My eyes are brown.
    • [they move in closer to look]
    • [unimpressed]
    • Bonnie: Oh.
    • [explaining]
    • Sarah: They're usually green.
    • Mr. Bailey: You can wait, i mean until you get a school uniform. You don't have to go now.
    • Sarah: I can't stay home and watch daytime television for the rest of my life.
    • Mr. Bailey: Why not? I could.
    • [interrupting a levitation spell, which sends Rochelle crashing to the floor]
    • Bonnie's mother: What's going on in here?
    • [obviously lying]
    • Bonnie: Nothing, why?
    • Bonnie's mother: Are you girls getting high?
    • [Braiding a piece of Laura's hair into Rochelle's hair]
    • Sarah: Laura really has split ends.
    • Rochelle: Who's that?
    • Sarah: Oh, that's my real Mother.
    • Rochelle: Well, where is she?
    • Sarah: She died while she was having me.
    • [Shocked]
    • Rochelle: Sorry.
    • Sarah: It's okay.
    • [Rochelle looks over at Nancy and Bonnie, with Nancy helping Bonnie her spell to remove her scars]
    • Bonnie: Manon, take my scars, give me beauty outside as well as in. Manon, take my scars. Take my scars. Take my scars. Take my scars. Take my scars.
    • Rochelle: Really?
    • Sarah: I guess that confirms she's not a naturally blond.
    • [Jokingly]
    • Rochelle: Bleach.
    • [Serious]
    • Rochelle: What do you think'll happen to Laura?
    • Sarah: I don't know. If she leaves you alone, nothing'll happen to her, nothing good.
    • Rochelle: Fat chance.
    • [Sees the picture of Sarah's Mom]
    • [Sarah comes rushing down the hallway, runs into the Girls' Bathroom, into a stall, locks the door behind and sits down, still t]
    • Nancy: There you are. We've been looking everywhere for you. You okay?
    • Sarah: Look, Nancy, people are dead, okay? Chris and Ray-...
    • Bonnie: - -Those were accidents.
    • Nancy: They deserved it.
    • Sarah: Says who?
    • Nancy: Says me and you know it's true.
    • Sarah: Fine, whatever, I'm out.
    • Nancy: Fine. That's fine. We don't really need a fourth anymore, do we, girls?
    • Bonnie: No.
    • Rochelle: Mm-mmm.
    • Nancy: If you're thinking of leaving the circle, you might want to think about leaving the school.
    • Sarah: Yeah, I'm fine.
    • Bonnie: And the city, too. We're not so sure.
    • Rochelle: Or the planet.
    • Nancy: And, please, don't do any more spells on me.
    • Sarah: But, I didn't.
    • Nancy: You know, in the old days... if a witch betrayed her coven... they would kill her.
    • [Sarah stands there, scared, and in tears; They turn to leave]
    • Nancy: Bye
    • [She leaves the bathroom]
    • [as she is walking out of the bathroom]
    • Rochelle: Sweet dreams, Sarah.
    • Bonnie: How have you been sleeping?
    • Rochelle: We heard the police came to your house. They came to mine, too.
    • [Sarah stares back at Bonnie, with a teat streaming down her face, as Bonnie shoots Sarah an evil smile]
    • Sarah: Yeah, well, I didn't tell them anything.
    • [Standing up and coming out of the stall]
    • Nancy: Then, why do you wanna leave the circle?
    • Sarah: I didn't say-...
    • Nancy: You didn't need to say it, you're thinking it.
    • [Smiles, tapping on the side of her own head]
    • [Coming down the stairs, facing Nancy, Bonnie, and Rochelle, who are standing in the living room]
    • Sarah: Where are my Dad and Jenny?
    • Rochelle: What's the deal? Why doesn't she use magic on us?
    • Nancy: BECAUSE SHE'S WEAK! Weak, weak, weak!
    • [Crying more]
    • Sarah: No, please.
    • Nancy: Oh, God, you're so disgusting. Now is the end, let her go in peace.
    • BonnieNancyRochelle: Now is the end, let her go in peace. Now is the end, let her go in peace. Now is the end, let her go in peace. Now is the end, let her go in peace.
    • [a suicide note drops to the floor, reading "I killed Chris. I'm sorry. Sarah"]
    • Sarah: I didn't write that.
    • Nancy: Doesn't matter. Handwriting still looks the same. What's wrong with your scar, Sarah?
    • [She looks down, as Nancy slashes Sarah's wrists with an athame, then laughs]
    • Sarah: It isn't real.
    • Nancy: Oh, you'll be seeing them soon. You're going to kill yourself, tonight, my dear.
    • Nancy: Then why are you still bleeding?
    • [She then swipes a few drops of blood onto the note]
    • Nancy: Run. Run back up to your room like the little coward that you are.
    • [She runs back upstairs]
    • Nancy: That's right. She's so PATHETIC!
    • Sarah: No, I'm not.
    • [Nancy, Bonnie, and Rochelle rise up off the ground, flying in mid-air; Nancy laughs]
    • Nancy: Surprise.
    • Sarah: No.
    • Nancy: Really? Look in your eyes tells me you might not be so sure. After all, you have every reason in the world to do it. I mean, you killed, you killed Chris and you killed your Mom. You killed Mom when you were coming out of her, now that is really special. Even I couldn't go that low.
    • [Applauding]
    • Nancy: BRAVO!
    • [Crying]
    • Sarah: Stop it, please!
