Tyrese: *Sings one of the most popular Christmas songs ever because there are only, like, 7 total* Girl: How dare you sing my father's favorite song?
GordoFlowerNov 25, 2020Chris Columbus has forgotten more about how to make satisfying family movies than most people will ever know, and nothing will ever change the fact that “Home Alone,” “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and “Adventures in Babysitting” did more to shape millennial identity (or at least the…

Don’t get me wrong, Kurt Russell as Hot Santa goes a long way but just not nearly enough.

George ClarkDec 20, 2020How does Ballswallow keep getting away with this?? Doesn’t Santa know and see everything? Mrs. Claus gets a pass cause she’s clearly off her rocker and doesn’t know what’s going on.

What this brainless nonsense needed was not worldbuilding, but here we are.
Sally Jane BlackDec 20, 2020Less cheesy, less funny, more dreary, unnecessarily longer and more inconsistent and utterly stupid with plot details than the original; with an added dash of a horribly unlikeable version of the returning main girl from the first movie, and plenty of continuity errors. I’m…

Cursed pagan/commercial nonsense. The first one was fine, this one steers way off course as it tries to explain the “science” behind Christmas. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are great but the turn towards casual commercial heresy is disappointing.

Fun story but not as good as the first. The daughter is really annoying in this one.
Not as good as the first one. The main character stepped backwards, the brother wasn’t there, and Jack didn’t get enough screen time. But hey… Deadpool2 Rusty (Julian Dennison) was there. Tho I didn’t like his elf character…or any of the elf designs…creepy weird. POOR REINDEER 😭

In the words of McDonald's, Im lovin it. so these two are so good at playing mrs claus and santa its unreal, such a great film like the first one, however i think its a slight bit better, and that's for the airport scene.
They tried to make something like the first but it just didn’t have that type of magic the first one had. It still has Intresting story and it had the same character but it just did it have any charm Overall 6/10

The bad news, I’m sorry to say, is that The Christmas Chronicles 2 doesn’t contribute much that's worthwhile to the first movie's blueprint, and focuses on mildly amusing indulgences — more elf-centric shenanigans, more Santa mythology, more roller coaster sleigh rides.
It’s hard not to think of The Christmas Chronicles series as a series of wasted opportunities. Kurt Russell as Santa Claus, with Goldie Hawn his doting wife, is such an inspired casting choice that it’s a real bummer to see them do so little with it.
The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two, directed and co-written by Chris Columbus, once again takes full advantage of Kurt Russell's exuberance as Santa -- and the full addition of Goldie Hawn's Mrs. Claus -- for a rewarding romp about young Kate Pierce's need to rediscover the holiday spirit.
