Atom User Reviews for The Big Lebowski 20th Anniversary (1998) presented by TCM
It really tied the room together.
Has not lost its Dude-ness! Great film.
The Dude still abides and doesn't disappoint 20 years later! Loved seeing this back in the theater!
The Coen brothers are hit or miss for me but one of my top ten films of all time is The Big Lebowski. It was amazing to see it again on the big screen 20 years later.
I really enjoyed seeing the movie on the big screen and sharing it with the audience.
A movie worth watching over and over. Not for any plot twists or big battle scenes, but for getting to spend more time with this unique batch of characters.
Great as always!
This movie has aged very well. The characters are vibrant, colorful, quirky and tragicomic. This is a fantastic film.
Always wanted to see it on the big screen βIf you will it, it is no dreamβ
One of the most underrated films of all time.
Should show this one more often.
Canβt go wrong with The Dude
Dfntly worth the almost 200 mile round trip drive! π€π€πβ
Honestly, don't know what all the fuss is about
I didn't understand it. Were the 3 main characters suppose to be all people?
Loved the movie. The Venue they picked was terrible though.
Very funny and fast moving. The theater was hot and sticky. No air conditioning. They give free drinks to make up for the heat.
Best movie ever.
The movie was better the second viewing time after 20 years. It was really great to see on the Big Screen again.
The dude abides.
Our whole group LOVED it!
It's a Swiss watch.
If you can overlook the language, it's a pretty hilarious movie!
Dude
Has aged well...loved it!
The movie is great - that's irrelevant. The movie sounded like a bootleg copy. We could not hear dialog. Terrible
I had somehow forgotten around 30% of this movie, so it was great all over again! His Dudeliness did not disappoint.
Seeing it on the big screen 20 years later was amazing!
Every time I see The Big Lebowski it moves up several places on my list of all-time favorite films. Seeing it again on the big screen put it in my Top 5. Fantastic! The only glitch was the theater at AMC Mission Valley here in San Diego, which left the overhead lights on until 30 minutes into the film, even though I went out to the lobby TWICE to bring this to the staff's attention. As The Dude would say, "Bummer!"
I watch this movie regularly, but had never seen it on the big screen. Love it!!
The Dude abides...
