  • After some photos of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), where we see Robin have already been killed by the Joker, some rumors claimed that the villain will be Red Hood.
  • Deathstroke was rumored to appear to team up with Batman. This was confirmed by a report in the Wall Street Journal in September 2016, along with the casting choice of Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke.
