This film is so over-the-top ridiculous that it’s funny most of the time. It has a serious undertone of racism, acceptance, and equality, and what that means to everyone. Slanted is a true look into what every racist and white supremacist really would want in this world.

It’s only the plot that runs into trouble, since it leads Slanted to carefully tackle some serious issues, but overlook or airball some others. When viewed from different angles the film is either a fascinating success or a gigantic misfire.
