Synopsis
Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe. Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite in Scary Movie alongside returning favorites and fresh faces to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final. Nothing is sacred. No trope survives. Every line gets crossed. The Wayans are back to cancel the Cancel Culture.

Joey likedScary MovieTons of movie references. Great that they went back to the OG cast and Ghostface. Lot of funny jokes in this. Ray had be cracking up. Sometimes it felt like just thrown together at times. Like one and two felt like the plot flowed together. Ranking this below the first two 6.2/10

Nothing will ever beat the first one but this one’s soo funny and good. I always had hope and it definitely succeeded. Also the Og casting’s chemistry. 7/10 ⭐️

This is my first time ever watching any of the Scary Movies. I might give the others a try but this one… the jokes were just really stupid to me. They got a few giggles from me but for the most part I was getting confused with all the jump cuts.
Jonny is "meh" onScary MovieAs a fan of the originals back in high school, I enjoyed this. Overall, it’s not really the same humor that I would’ve fought really funny in the late 90s early 2000s but it was a nice little walk down nostalgia Lane.
