An inspiring tale, artlessly told. The story here overlaps a lot with the story of Killers of the Flower Moon, as both movies focus on white oppression of minority landowners’ mineral rights during the Oklahoma oil rush of the early 1900s, giving particular attention to…
Adam ForrestNov 6, 2025Zachary Levi's token black movie. "I might be MAGA but I'm not racist! I was in Sarah's Oil!" Tedious, tangential racial prejudice period piece old white geezers can't get enough of. Bring your grandpa! He'll love it.
John CNov 29, 2025I like Zachary Levi, but he deserves a Razzie nomination for whatever the hell he was doing here. In fairness no one in the cast seems to be trying all that hard. Very much felt like a straight to streaming, Hallmark, Family channel movie that somehow found its way into…

You know for a religious film, this one is decent. Recommend to not watch the trailer to this because it gives away the whole final 15 mins. Which was disappointing they gave away the final emotional climax of this in the marketing. But very interesting true story, it’s…

jerjbarNov 9, 2025Adorable 😊 Naya Desir-Johnson is a force to be reckoned with. And, Levi was quite good himself. Enough with this happy movie stuff though, time for TennesseeJoe to get back to the wierd and depressing.

i’m not convinced this movie came out in 2025, feels more like i was forced to watch it in middle school history class while answering stupid questions and learning nothing throughout. my mom said it was either this or Wicked but i’m still glad we saw this.
whitbey 🐈⬛Nov 16, 2025Make this about 20 minutes shorter and you actually have a solid movie here. If I’m in the right mood I honestly love period pieces. This one had a lil charm to it. Nothing crazy. But it was there enough for me to be interested. I couldn’t tell if I loved or hated…
