What an absolutely ridiculous movie. 🤣 Man, do I love a good horror-comedy. I just can't help it. Has always been a guilty pleasure. I'm so glad the makers of this series decided to go this route. They could've just made another stupid zombie movie, but instead they…

The ProjectionistSep 4, 2018Yeah I know it’s not anywhere close to as good as the first one and if you said you didn’t like it, I’d totally get it...I’d judge you obviously because that’s just a thing that I do...but i’d get it, but there’s so much 80’sness and lovely practical effects that I still…

With its silly humor and good effects, the movie goes in the same direction as the first part. Basically, the same story is being told again, just in different locations and with less good characters.
kat🕷Apr 25, 2024If Return of the Living Dead is the GG Allin of zombie movies, then Part II is Blink-182.
CinemaVoid 🏴☠️Jul 4, 2025“It’s like deja vu all over again” - Yogi Berra This toned down, suburban sequel to one of the greatest zombie films of all time is fine in its own right. It was disorienting the first time I saw it, as it tells almost the same story but with different characters and tone.…

A fun sequel to the 1985 movie. Ken Wiederhorn takes over the helm from Dan O'Bannon, but he flawlessly recreates the same quirky atmosphere as the original. I love that James Karen and Thom Mathews basically reprise their roles, but not quite. It does fall a tiny bit…
Lou (rhymes with wow!)Mar 29, 2024I was very much disappointed that Thom Mathews wasn’t wearing a tank top in this one. Like the first, this was silly and so much fun. I loved the convenience of the sister being a state-champion shooter. The soundtrack was also gloriously 80’s.
KyloJun 14, 2025just a little decayed matter nothing to get unhinged about 🪦

It’s fine. Anything special about the horror-comedy-zombie sub-sub-genre was done in the first one. Not breaking any new ground here. Worth a watch for horror hounds. Movie snobs will snub their nose at it.
I just found this movie way too annoying and not scary like there was no horror really but the special effects were good so there’s a plus

I love Zombie movies, but they should have stopped with Return of the Living Dead.
Really boring. Doesn’t take itself seriously, but then isn’t funny either.

Not as good as the first. Still an okay watch.
