re-animator understands what three core elements are required for a piece of perfect cinema: - 900 glowsticks - 24 gallons of blood - 1 weird little gay guy
raine 🦂Jan 25, 2014The hospital really needs to work on hiring a security guard that doesn't take every opportunity to run to the bathroom to masturbate.

Very funny, good entertainment. I think this one is a bit of a diamond in the rough of cheesy horror films. I liked this one a lot, the effects are just great and the story is too. Obviously the acting sucks but whateryagonnado? Worth a watch if you like cheesy old horror films.

Re-Animator is cheesy, stupid, and super over the top, but in all the right ways. The movie manages to be both funny and unnerving (and it has a wonderful score), but it does seem to drag a bit here and there despite its short run time. Still a fun watch though!
That was a wild ride. For anyone who loves classic horror films this is a must-see. Pet Semetary might have done the same plot better, but this schlocky gorefest stands on its own and only Jeffrey Combs could play someone so meek yet so eerily lacking in empathy at the same time.
Manic pixie murderous mad scientist and his roommate. 🧪 Awesome first half, …weird (in a not great way) second half. There were so many places this could have gone and it didn’t (+ places it did go which were so unnecessary) but Herbert and Dan are a bromance for the ages.
