A well put movie, the actors all played great roles. He gave me a glimpse of what goes on in the education system outside of the US in Mexico. A story that makes you reflect on your life! Love that it was in Spanish with English subtitles.
Recomendada habla de cómo en nuestros países aveces los niños tienen que cuidar a sus propios hermanos y dejan las escuelas.
Metacritic
While Radical, an audience winner at the Sundance Film Festival, is formulaic in its approach, it gets enough out of it likable cast to earn at least a passing grade.
Radical may hit all the requisite narrative arcs, but it does so with a level of nuance and examination that other films of this type either gloss over or ignore entirely.
As Sergio and Chucho share the names of the teachers who inspired them, we see Chucho begin to reconnect with what led him to become an educator. If we are lucky, we have at least one teacher in our past who showed us what we are capable of. If not, Sergio can help remind us that it is never too late.
