    • Butch: Will you hand me a towel, Miss Beautiful Tulip?
    • Fabienne: Ah, I like that. I like tulip. Tulip is much better than mongoloid.
    • Mia: I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good.
    • The Wolf: That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.
    • Jules: Whether or not what we experienced was an According to Hoyle miracle is insignificant. What is significant is that I felt the touch of God. God got involved.
    • Jimmie: I'm gonna get fuckin' divorced. No marriage counselling, no trial separation, I'm gonna get fuckin' divorced.
    • [talking about Mia, Marsellus Wallace's wife]
    • Jules: I think her biggest deal was she starred in a pilot.
    • Vincent: Pilot? What's a pilot?
    • Jules: Well, you know the shows on TV?
    • Vincent: I don't watch TV.
    • Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?
    • Vincent: Yeah.
    • Jules: Well, the way they pick TV shows is, they make one show. That show's called a pilot. Then they show that one show to the people who pick shows, and on the strength of that one show they decide if they want to make more shows. Some get chosen and become television programs. Some don't, become nothing. She starred in one of the ones that became nothing.
    • The Wolf: You're... Jimmie, right? This is your house?
    • Jimmie: Sure is.
    • The Wolf: I'm Winston Wolfe. I solve problems.
    • Jimmie: Good, we got one.
    • The Wolf: So I heard. May I come in?
    • Jimmie: Uh, yeah, please do.
    • Jules: We should have shotguns for this kind of deal.
    • Vincent: How many up there?
    • Jules: Three or four.
    • Vincent: That's countin' our guy?
    • Jules: Not sure.
    • Vincent: So that means there could be up to five guys up there?
    • Jules: It's possible.
    • Vincent: We should have fuckin' shotguns.
    • Pumpkin: Garçon! Coffee!
    • [the waitress approaches the table and refills Pumpkin's cup]
    • Waitress: 'Garçon' means boy.
    • [Burst out of the bathroom with his gun]
    • Man #4: Die you motherfuckers!
    • [He empties his entire gun, hitting nothing but air]
    • [answering the phone]
    • Lance: Hello.
    • Vincent: Negative.
    • Lance: This is not my fuckin' problem, man! You fucked her up, you fuckin' deal with this!
    • Vincent: Lance! It's Vincent. I'm in big fuckin' trouble, man. I'm coming to your house.
    • Lance: Whoa. Whoa. Hold your horses, man. What's the problem?
    • Vincent: I've got this chick, she fuckin' O.D.in' on me!
    • Lance: Well, don't bring her here! I'm not even fuckin' joking with you, man! Do not be bringing some fucked-up pooh-bah to my house!
    • Vincent: No choice.
    • Lance: She's O.D.in'?
    • Vincent: She's fuckin' dyin' on me, man!
    • Lance: Okay, then you bite the fuckin' bullet, take her to a hospital and call a lawyer.
    • [Lance is looking for a medical book]
    • Vincent: Hurry up, Lance! We're losing her!
    • Lance: Trust me, I have one.
    • Jody: Well, if it's so important, why don't you keep it with the shot?
    • Lance: I DON'T KNOW! STOP BOTHERING ME!
    • Jody: Listen, while you're looking for it, that girl's gonna die on our carpet! You're never gonna find anything in this mess!
    • Lance: I'm gonna fuckin' kill you IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP!
    • [from the other room]
    • Vincent: STOP ARGUING AND GET IN HERE!
    • Lance: I'm lookin' as fast as I can!
    • [to Vincent]
    • Jody: What's he looking for?
    • Vincent: I dunno. Some book.
    • [to Lance]
    • Jody: What're you looking for?
    • Lance: A little black medical book!
    • Jody: What're you looking for?
    • Lance: A little black fuckin' medical book! It's like a textbook they give to nurses.
    • Jody: I never saw no medical book.
    • [Butch comes up beside Vincent at the bar]
    • Butch: You lookin at something, friend?
    • Vincent: You ain't my friend, Palooka.
    • Butch: What's that?
    • Vincent: I think you heard me just fine, Punchy.
    • Butch: I think I cracked a rib.
    • Fabienne: Giving me oral pleasure?
    • Butch: No, retard, from the fight.
    • Fabienne: Whose motorcycle is this?
    • Butch: It's a chopper, baby.
    • Fabienne: Whose chopper is this?
    • Butch: It's Zed's.
    • Fabienne: Who's Zed?
    • Butch: Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
    • Vincent: Thank you. Mind if I shoot it up here?
    • Lance: Hey, mi casa su casa.
    • Lance: Are you calling me on the cellular phone? I don't know you. Who is this? Don't come here, I'm hanging up the phone! Prank caller, prank caller!
    • Vincent: Jules, if you give that fuckin' nimrod fifteen hundred dollars, I'm gonna shoot him on general principles.
    • [after snorting what she thinks is coke; it's heroin]
    • Mia: I said God Damn! God Damn...
    • [whispering]
    • Mia: ...God damn...
    • [passes out]
    • Jules: If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.
    • The Wolf: You see that, young lady? Respect. Respect for one's elders gives character.
    • Raquel: I have character.
    • The Wolf: Just because you are a character doesn't mean that you have character.
    • Butch: That's how you're gonna beat 'em, Butch. They keep underestimating you.
    • Zed: Bring out the Gimp.
    • Maynard: Gimp's sleeping.
    • Zed: Well, I guess you're gonna have to go wake him up now, won't you?
    • Jules: Hey, that's Kool and the Gang.
    • Fabienne: Where's my Honda?
    • Butch: Sorry, baby, but I had to crash that Honda.
    • Esmeralda: So what does it feel like to kill a man with your bare hands? It's a topic I'm very interested in.
    • Lance: If you're all right, then say something.
    • Mia: Something.
    • Jules: You know the shows on TV?
    • Vincent: I don't watch TV.
    • Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?
    • Mia: I have to go powder my nose.
    • The Wolf: Maybe I can give you guys a ride. Where do you live?
    • Vincent: Redondo Beach.
    • Jules: Inglewood.
    • The Wolf: In your future... I see a cab ride. Move out of the sticks, gentlemen.
    • Mia: Don't you just love it when you come back from the bathroom and find your food waiting for you?
    • Vincent: We're lucky we got anything at all. I don't think Buddy Holly's much of a waiter.
    • Vincent: I'll have the Douglas Sirk steak, and a vanilla Coke.
    • Buddy Holly: How would you like that? Burnt to a crisp or bloody as hell?
    • Vincent: Bloody as hell.
    • Mia: I'll be there in two shakes of a lamb's tail.
    • Vincent: Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go home and have a heart attack.
    • Mia: Vincent, do you still want to hear my Fox Force Five joke?
    • Vincent: Sure, but I think I'm still a little too petrified to laugh.
    • Mia: No, you wont laugh, 'cus it's not funny. But if you still wanna hear it, I'll tell it.
    • Vincent: I can't wait.
    • Mia: Three tomatoes are walking down the street- a poppa tomato, a momma tomato, and a little baby tomato. Baby tomato starts lagging behind. Poppa tomato gets angry, goes over to the baby tomato, and smooshes him... and says, Catch up.
    • Butch: I'll be back before you can say Blueberry pie.
    • Fabienne: Blueberry pie.
    • Butch: Okay, maybe not that fast. But pretty fast, alright?
    • Jules: I don't know why, I just thought he'd be European or something because he...
    • Vincent: Yeah, man, he's about as European as fuckin' English Bob.
    • Vincent: Get her the shot!
    • Lance: I will if you let me.
    • Vincent: I ain't fuckin' stopping you!
    • Lance: Well, then quit talking to me, talk to her.
    • Vincent: Get the shot!
    • [last lines]
    • Vincent: I think we should be leaving now.
    • Jules: Yeah, that's probably a good idea.
    • Jules: I'll just walk the earth.
    • Vincent: What'cha mean walk the earth?
    • Jules: You know, walk the earth, meet people... get into adventures. Like Caine from "Kung Fu."
    • Vincent: That's the Marilyn Monroe section that's Mamie Van Doren... I don't see Jayne Mansfield, she must have the night off or something.
    • [after the row between Jules and Jimmy over the quality of his coffee, The Wolf tries some, he looks impressed, looks at Jimmy a]
    • The Wolf: Mmm.
    • Maynard: Nobody kills anyone in my store except me and Zed.
    • [doorbell rings]
    • Maynard: That's Zed.
    • Jules: Yolanda? How we doin, baby?
    • Yolanda: I gotta go pee! I want to go home.
    • Jules: Just hang in there, baby. You're doing' great. Ringo's proud of you and so am I. It's almost over. Tell her you're proud of her.
    • Pumpkin: I'm proud of you, Honey Bunny.
    • Yolanda: I love you!
    • Pumpkin: I love you too, Honey Bunny.
    • Jules: So, tell me again about the hashbars?
    • Vincent: Okay, what you wanna know?
    • Jules: Hash is legal there in Amsterdam, right?
    • Vincent: Yeah, it's legal, but it ain't a hundred percent legal. I mean, you can't just walk into a restaurant, roll a joint and start puffing away. You're only supposed to smoke in your home or certain designated places.
    • Jules: And those are hashbars?
    • Vincent: Yeah. It breaks down like this: it's legal to buy it, it's legal to own it, and, if you're the proprietor of a hash bar, it's legal to sell it. It's still illegal to carry it around, but that doesn't really matter 'cause... get a load of this: if you get stopped by the cops in Amsterdam, it's illegal for them to search you. I mean, that's a right the cops in Amsterdam don't have.
    • [laughing]
    • Jules: I'm going, that's all there is to it, I'm fuckin' going.
    • Vincent: Yeah baby, you'd dig it the most.
    • [first title card]
    • Title Card: pulp /'p&lp/ n. 1. A soft, moist, shapeless mass of matter.
    • Title Card: 2. A magazine or book containing lurid subject matter and being characteristically printed on rough, unfinished paper.
    • Title Card: American Heritage Dictionary
    • Title Card: New College Edition
    • Vincent: I promise I won't laugh.
    • Mia: That's what I'm afraid of, Vincent.
    • Fabienne: I like the way you stink.
    • Fabienne: Any time of the day is a good time for pie.
    • Marvin: Man, I don't even have an opinion.
    • Vincent: If you'll excuse me, I gotta go home and have a heart attack.
    • [TV Version]
    • Vincent: Go home, cool off, and that's all you got to do.
    • Mia: Warmer! Warmer! Disco!
    • Butch: I think I have a broken rib.
    • Fabienne: From giving me oral pleasure?
    • [as Vincent and Mia enter]
    • Ed Sullivan: Good Evening, ladies and gentlemen. Now, how may I help you?
    • Mia: There's a reservation under Wallace.
    • [scans reservation list]
    • Ed Sullivan: Wallace...
    • Mia: We reserved a car.
    • Ed Sullivan: Oh, a car.
    • [scans second list]
    • [to doorman]
    • Ed Sullivan: Why don't you seat them over there
    • [points right]
    • Ed Sullivan: in the... Chrysler.
    • [driving while Butch is in the back changing his clothes]
    • Esmeralda: You killed the other boxing man.
    • [stops and looks at her]
    • Butch: He's dead?
    • Esmeralda: The radio said he was dead.
    • [silent for a second or two and then resumes changing, muttering]
    • Butch: Sorry about that, Floyd.
    • [Deleted scene]
    • Mia: In conversation, do you listen or wait to talk?
    • Vincent: I have to admit that I wait to talk, but I'm trying harder to listen.
    • Jules: You read the Bible, Brett?
    • Brett: Yes.
    • Jules: Well, there's this passage I got memorized, sorta fits the occasion. "Ezekiel 25:17". "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of cherish and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness for he is truly his keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
    • [Jules and Vincent shoot and kill Brett]
    • Marsellus: You came close but you never made it. And if you were gonna make it, you would have made it before now.
    • Jules: There's a passage I got memorized, seems appropriate for this situation: Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
    • Jules: Why you so interested in the big man's wife?
    • Vincent: He's goin' out of town, Florida. And he asked me if I'd take care of her while he's gone.
    • [motioning a gun to the head]
    • Jules: Take care of her?
    • Vincent: No, man. Just take her out. Show her a good time. Make sure she don't get lonely.
    • Jules: You're gonna be taking Mia Wallace out on a date?
    • Vincent: It is not a date. It's just like if you were gonna take your buddy's wife to a movie or somethin'. It's just good company, that's all.
    • [Jules looks at him as though to say, 'Really?']
    • Vincent: It's not a date. It's definitely not a date.
    • Mia: So did you think of something to say?
    • Vincent: Alright, alright. Welp. Here goes. Uh. What did you, um, think about what happened to Antoine?
    • Mia: Who's Antoine?
    • Vincent: Tony Rocky Horror. You know him.
    • Mia: Fell out of a window.
    • Vincent: Hmm, hmm. Well, that is one way to say it. Another way to say it would be that he was thrown out. Another way would be that he was thrown out by Marcellus. And yet even another way to say it was that he was thrown out of the window by Marcellus because of you.
    • Mia: Is that a fact?
    • Vincent: No, no. It's not a fact, it's just what I heard. It's just what I heard.
    • Mia: Who told you?
    • Vincent: They.
    • Mia: They talk a lot, don't they?
    • Vincent: Actually, I did. However, you seem like a really nice person, and I... I don't want to offend you.
    • Vincent: They certainly do. They certainly do.
    • Mia: Don't be shy, Vincent, what else did they say?
    • Vincent: Well, I'm, I'm not shy, um...
    • Mia: Did it involve the F word?
    • Vincent: No. No, no. They just said that Antoine had given you a foot massage.
    • Mia: And?
    • Vincent: And nothing, nothing. That's it.
    • Mia: You heard Marcellus threw Tony Rocky Horror out a four story window for giving me a foot massage? And you believe that?
    • [Chuckles]
    • Vincent: Well, I mean, at the time I was told, it sounded reasonable.
    • Mia: Marcellus throwing Tony out of a four story window for massaging my feet seem reasonable?
    • Mia: Oooh! This doesn't sound like the usual mindless boring getting to know you chit chat. It sounds like you actually have something to say.
    • Vincent: No, it seemed excessive, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I mean, I understand Marcellus is very, very protective of you.
    • Mia: A husband being protective of his wife is one thing, a husband almost killing another man for touching his wife's feet is something else.
    • Vincent: But did it happen?
    • Mia: The only thing Antoine ever touched of mine was my hand, when he shook it, at my wedding.
    • Vincent: Really?
    • Mia: Truth is, nobody knows why Marcellus threw Tony out of that four story window except Marcellus and Tony. When you little scamps get together, you're worse than a sewing circle.
    • Vincent: Well, well, I do, I do. But you have to promise not to be offended.
    • Mia: No. No, no. You can't promise something like that. I have no idea what you're going to ask me. So you can go ahead and ask me what you're going to ask me, and my natural response could be to get offended, then through no fault of my own I would have broken my promise.
    • Vincent: Let's just forget it.
    • Mia: That's an impossibility. Trying to forget anything as intriguing as this would be an exercise in futility.
    • Vincent: Is that a fact?
    • Mia: Besides, isn't it more, ah, exciting when you don't have permission?
