Soooo fun. Great for the whole family. My 8 year old boy and 15 year old daughter loved it. I laughed out loud mybe 10 times and got watery eyes several times. A postive loving ending.
Iove is at great
A nice, funny movie for the family.
I took my nephew and son, they both loved it.
it was okay. had funny moments.
Kids loved it. Parents will not.
Make a sequel of it
Absolutely love it. My kids did too
movie isnt that funny or okay. no one really laughed, not even the kids
At first I was so bothered by how rudely behaved the kids were. It frustrated me! After getting through a few minutes, it was absolutely hilarious and well my husband and I cried a few times. It’s definitely worth the watch. Kid appropriate film and adult as well.
great for a family day my son really loved it he is 5.5 we laughed so much
Loved it !!
A Good Family Movie 👌🏽
Great family movie.
Moments of funny
really good and funny
This movie is exactly what you expect it to be. Hilarious! Heart warming. Cute and a little corny. Overall, a great family movie!
It is a movie beholden to disparate, disconnected moments of physical comedy (usually performed most adeptly by Keegan-Michael Key), and makes no sense beyond this. It's not to say this is a "bad" movie, but I can't imagine recommending it beyond a few choice moments that could've easily been YouTube clips. Ehhhhh.
The kids really loved it. Went and there was a lot of laughter and just an overall fun time.
I walked out it was bad.
Was an ok movie
love the movie
I really liked this movie. My husband and I went, we don’t have kids but you don’t need kiddos to enjoy and family friendly movie. John cena and the other cast members do a fantastic job in the movie.
Funny but not as funny as I thought it would be.
Love this movie. It makes me want to go back to theaters to watch movies again.
It was cute, but not what I thought it’d be. :(
Worst movie I saw all year
Such a great movie! Lots of laughs and some tears. Definitely recommend seeing this movie!
Great family-oriented movie
Thought it was weird at first but then as the story developed it was cool and great.
It wasn’t as funny as I thought...kind of boring.
Had some slow parts, but overall a good movie.
Great for all ages.
This movie is soooo funny. It’s just a really great movie overall
This movie is extremely family friendly to the point that it’s almost kind of boring to an adult but I would say it’s definitely something you can take the kids to. It is an entertaining movie but it can get a bit silly.
It’s ok. Not as funny as I thought it would be.
For sure buying when releases in disc.
great family fun movie
It was a decent movie but had slow moments at time. Love John Cena though.
I love it and would see it again
Started out a little corny, but about 10 minutes from the start it got very funny and heartwarming.
it was funny, sometimes they pushed the funny to far for me but the kids loved that. funny and thoughtful movie. must see
Key, Leguizamo, Greer, and Haysbert actually look like their having a good time and investing their acting talent in this silly story without flinching. No one’s phoning it in. John Cena is just a little too cartoony in his straight-laced character and somehow manages to make “normal” feel over-the-top.
Playing With Fire strikes strictly predictably beats. Key and Leguizamo, comic talents who are wildly overqualified for this sort of thing, work hard, very hard, to infuse the tired material with laughs. But they're mostly hamstrung by their one-note characters
The film is bland and predictable, underestimates kids’ abilities to understand story and humor, and relies way too much on sight gags that are clichéd and overdone.
