Incomplete as to the details many of which were left out (I read the book). There was no story about the Delectable Mts. and Beulah Land and the Shining Ones. The original name of Christian was Pilgrim. He was renamed later when he had his experience at the cross. The movie with Liam Neeson was better. All things considered, this was a cute movie especially for kids. It teaches salvation in a friendly way as well as Christian values. Can’t wait for Part II. I’ll be there. I’m a Pilgrim’s Progress fan.

The 2 middle aged boys we went with thought it was great. The understood the “bigger story”. It was a good quality retelling of a great story. Simple enough for younger and yet meaningful and relatable to older kids and adults alike. Maybe it will inspire reading of original work!

A very good animation on Pilgrims Progress. IT is worth the time to watch it. This movie is a good one understand the Struggles of becoming a Christian and the trials we may face during our lives. It will be a movie that will bless you and help you grow in faith.

Crazy how an animated cartoon can remind you of the important things in life! We were very encouraged. Pilgrims Progress is one of my all time favorites. The movie did not disappoint!

We took three grandsons (12-16). All enjoyed it and talked about the symbolism afterward. Well worth it!

Hoping that there will be a part two!

A great story and a great attempt at covering the whole story in one movie. The second part of Christiana and her children will be out later, yet many good parts we well done, even though some parts were left out and others greatly simplified — interpreter’s house. Well it still is a great movie, even my 17 year old don liked it and all my children read the book while very young from 5-7 years of age. The book “The Holy War” is a similar story full if excitement for older readers and hopefully will be another story to be made into a great movie too!!!

Ive read the book three times and have seen it in video at least three versions and this by far was the best. Only thing I would add is that viewers know its the valley of the shadow of death and Christian ought to quote scripture when using his sword to fight the enemy. I would definitly take others to see it and buy on DVD. Wonderful movie!!!

Excellent and very close to the book, which is a must read for everyone who also saw the move. John Bunyan also wrote a follow up called the Life and Death of Mr. Badman, which I am currently reading.

Well written and beautifully directed.

The best family film I've seen in a long time. It faithfully delivers the gospel message as only John Bunyan can do! It was a major task to deliver such a book within a 2 hour + time frame...but they did it. Animation and voices were fantastic and the ending was very moving. Hopefully it will come out to more theaters!
