Synopsis
Parallel follows the story of Vanessa (Danielle Deadwyler) who takes refuge at her family’s lake house to grieve after suffering the loss of her child. Accompanied by her husband, Alex (Aldis Hodge), and his brother, Martel (Edwin Hodge), Vanessa attempts to regain her sense of normalcy after the tragedy. But soon after their arrival, she experiences an aberration when she is attacked by a parallel universe’s version of herself.

DeathySep 12, 2024The movie itself was just ok, but it was elevated by the 3 performances. Danielle Deadwyler is obviously great. And it was awesome to see the Hodge brothers together. Aldis is one of the most underrated actors going, and Edwin is very good too.

Danielle Deadwyler you will always be famous! Hodge twins you will always be famous (and HOT!) Solid acting from all three actors! Great story even if a bit muddled. It takes the multiverse genre and creates something a little more worthwhile than those as of recent.
