Synopsis

Watched the US premiere at SXSW 25. LOVED IT!! Such a beautifully told story of queerness in the 50s that feels very modern and authentic without being dated.Cast absolutely knocks it out the park and the shots are beautiful to look at.Loved the depth each character carries.8/10

Zudem war er teils sehr unrealistisch, trotzdem ein schöner queerer Film und ich würde ihn nochmal schauen.

Told in a style that could be called old-fashioned due to its lack of cynicism in an era when heartfelt melodrama is often mocked more than celebrated, it’s fair to call this engaging drama a throwback, a movie that wants to sweep you away on the back of its passion and heartbreak.
