Jodie Comer. That’s all you need to know.
Completely blown away by Jodie Comer. This play left me breathless. Everything about it was flawless. Prepare for a tough subject that is executed so well. It thrusts you into the story so quickly but is easy to catch on. All I can say is wow
It was one of the best things happened to me this year.
The play was incredible. Jodie was incredible. I could barely breathe for the entire 90 minutes. I loved it. Thank you for making everything available here in Oklahoma.
As an actress she is a force. The subject matter was heavy and important. Amazing show.
Jodie Comer continues to prove she is the greatest actress of her generation
Worth the wait, and the trip.
Jodie is OUTSTANDING. This woman is THE actress to follow. Watching this in london, and having the opportunity to see this again...my heart was pounding just the same as the live show. Jodie is just remarkable. If you have the opportunity, see this!
The one-woman play begins at 70 mph and zooms and flies for the most part. After the inciting incident the plays goes slow, almost as if the audience is to experience the time shift of the character. The set is clever and well-used, the dialog imaginative and realistic. I was able to relate to the subject matter and found it interesting, but my husband thought it was a feminist play. There was no man-bashing or flag waving, but the last 15-20 minutes were a well thought lecture on the state of affairs, and could have been a little less overstated, and seven minutes shorter. The acting was flawless and actually didn't seem like acting. I'm really glad I saw it.
Jodie Comers performance was nothing short of phenomenal. The range of emotions she displays and physical demands on stage command your attention and leave you breathless. A truly powerful and moving, timeless tale that fits perfectly into todays climate. 10/10.
