joeMay 8, 2025The formula may look familiar, but the tone that the film conveys through its themes will bring you back to a bygone era of films that are rarely made anymore. Full Review 2025 Movie Ranking
CinemaCollectMay 12, 2025I laughed, I teared up, I felt embraced — and then it left me with my mouth watering. You won my heart with this one, Netflix. This simple film about Italian cuisine and Italian nonnas is miles better than that $300 million blockbuster. Take notes!

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Completely ignores what it takes to run a restaurant in terms of staffing and everything else (3 head chefs and 1 host staff an entire restaurant…?). No character progression, predictable plot, cheesy romantic interest. 1.3/10
It’s actually a really great movie, and I love how Lorraine Bracco plays a “nonna” everytime I heard her voice I kept thinking of Dr. Melfi from sopranos though 😩! Anyways, really enjoyable movie. Definitely check it out. 🍿🍾

Cute and nice that it’s a true story but wasn’t that good. Other than Vince Vaughn, acting was pretty mediocre across the board and the writing didn’t make up for it. Heart warming ending but you knew it was coming
It was okay. The acting felt exaggerated, not sure if it was intentional but I didn’t like it. The plot was boring and a lot of the lines were pretty bad. Very predictable. Couple of the grandma scenes were cute.
