MazinkaiserFeb 22, 2025🐺 I was not really expecting too much from this, mostly because it seemed to be on the cheaper side, but I had a lot of fun! The story is not difficult to follow at all and is clearly aimed at a younger audience. However, the many references to movies like “The Night of…

Score : 7.8/10 ✅ Probably the closest thing in terms of a gateway for cosmic horror newcomers and gummy texture lovers. Night of the Zoopocalypse is more than a 'Put the children in front of an animated movie and let the thing do its thing'. I can see adults becoming…

This movie is so stinking cute! I love the pygmy hippo. She steals the show for me. This movie could definitely be a little too scary for younger children but overall I really enjoyed this movie. I cracked up quite a bit. The music is great and builds intense moments And the story was wonderful.
I think this would be kind of disturbing for kids under 10, some of the zombie stuff like their limbs coming off would probably be freaky for them lol. Overall I was bored & did fall asleep near the end, plot felt wobbly & ending took forever to resolve. Cute animation style tho.

A clever Animated Gateway Horror flick for older kids that feeds on the fear of exaggerated animal designs, moody lighting, and familiar genre tropes.
Animation ok, the voice acting was good and the whole film was a decent
