Atom User Reviews for National Theatre Live: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Thanks to Atom and Fathom we can see this “impossible to get tickets for show” from the front row. Stylish and cool, funny and inspiring.
A wonderful play staged in an amazing way. Like the book, this play helps us understand the stressors that autistic people experience and see them as fellow human beings struggling to get through the day.
Important to view the world through another's eyes. This play provides one such opportunity.

Will remember it for a long time ...
It's such a great show with a superb cast. A truly unique theatrical experience.
Graham Butler was outstanding in the lead role!
A very good production!! Actors were terrific! Liked the way it was presented! Story was compelling, interesting and educational!!! Really good movie!
Two years ago I have the opportunity to see the Tony Award winning play at the straz center at Tampa. I really did enjoyed that show and tonight was incredible. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do that show. #tonydreaming
Loved every second! I was sad when I missed this on Broadway. SO glad I got a chance to see it on screen.
Amazingly good acting, staging, and choreography! A friend recommended it when it was on Broadway, but I did not want to spend the high price. So glad I got to see it at an affordable movie! I’ll remember this play / movie for a long time! Give all my blessings to any parent and child suffering with this horrible disorder!
Great cast, sets and production. WHY was there a 20 minute intermission? Really interrupted the flow. Unnecessary!
So glad I finally got to see it! Interesting, informative and entertaining.
AMC Esplanade has the most UNCOMFORTABLE seats. Will not attend that theatre in the future.
fabulous and moving show ... Hampton Bays theatre ... LowDef, poor sound, lights left on, then turned off late and stayed off during the 20 minute pitch dark intermission.
True to the book with some humor added. I laughed & cried. It hit close to home and I could relate to many scenes. My 19 year old son with Asperger’s really liked it and thought it was funny. My 15 year old daughter thought it was too emotional for her liking, but she loved the puppy at the end. Hope it can be shown again for those that could not see it tonight.
incredible set design. Inspirational performance
This was truly amazing play.
I read the book ages ago and could not imagine how they would bring it to the audience in play form. Turns out it was fantastic. I missed it live, but am glad that Atom events has been bringing shows like this to the movie theater screens to make them more accessible to more people.
Great acting, but did not feel that the unique staging came across on film as well as it should have.
Loved the book, and loved the great act I,g in this performance.
A terrific tale told from the perspective of an autistic young man. Gripping and uplifting.
Interesting subject matter. Too long, almost 3 hours; which included an unnecessary 20-minute intermission considering this was filmed.
Wonderful
