of all the stupidass things youths in slasher movies have ever done, getting drunk and going down into a mine for fun has to be in the top 3 worst ideas

personally i think a heart in a box is really bloody romantic
aaronFeb 14, 2018My Bloody Valentine is easily one of my very favorite slasher films, and for my money one of the best. 1981 was a hell of a year for the genre, in fact, 1978 to 1984 may be my most watched era of horror, producing a bevy of films that I'd easily call some of my…
Ian WestFeb 14, 2020my fav scene is when a man gets sent a severed heart in a candy box and when he opens it he looks genuinely bummed that he didn’t get chocolates and not even slightly concerned with the fact it’s a human heart, i totally feel that.

This was so much fun tbh. The actual fight/chase scenes left… a lot to be desired, but you can’t expect much from choreo in old slashers. The characters were entertaining, even when they were annoying. Sarah was SO goddamn funny the way she was so OVER the bs. Good times.

This movie was overall pretty good. And a unique storyline. Left off on kind of a cliffhanger.
It was a fun slasher and surprisingly good for its low budget. Idk if i’m missing something though but the ending kinda confused me. If Axle watched his father get murdered why would he turn around and start murdering innocent people too. It’s like reverse batman

Happy Valentine’s Day!! Didn’t like this as much as I wanted to but I did realize halfway through that I wasn’t watching the unrated version so I’ll give it a rewatch next year and see if my opinions change
much better than the remake imo! the only part that was a little ehhh was the ending but that doesn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the movie :3!!
