One of the earliest depictions of lesbianism in film. If you can get past the very orientalist 1930s depiction of morocco it’s a pretty good movie. Amy is so hot and it’s funny to watch her interact with the men in the film (she def doesn’t love them).
the ending was actually so sad. She fell in love with him so hard she left everything behind - maybe even herself
