I’m surprised by the negative reviews. Thought it still brought good action and plot twists. Maybe it was too close for comfort for some how AI and crime are eerily similar. Seeing it 3D seemed the best case scenario to enhance the AI special effects. Hope people reconsider watching this film…
1.6 - I’m going to admit off the bat, this is a little better than 1 star movie (like maybe 2 star?) if I’m grading 100% objectively, but I’m not. And not even seeing it in IMAX could have helped it. This movie pissed me off. It’s cursed. It’s evil. I hated it. From the opening exposition that…
5.8/10 Basic and Forgettable. War of the worlds (2025) but slightly better and less stupid. Pretty cool concept and I like how they throw you right into it. The acting is fine but the twist villain is extremely predictable. I also don’t like how they made AI just a helpful assistant other than a…

8.8 a couple of minutes and I thought it was gonna be a low budget bad movie but it turned out to be great with Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson carrying it. The AI aspect was cool. The twists were why this is rated so high. Everytime it felt like we had everything figured out they would twist it.…
Felt like it was more streaming worthy than theater. Some inconsistent parts and felt that a better background origin of the AI judicial system would have been nice. Found it pretty entertaining though. Cheesiest parts for me was seeing Elphaba (I joke) flying around in the cop drone.. that was not…
Rewatch quality of this movie is very low. It was decent but the writing was cheesy and some of the acting was bad. I thought it would be a modern day minority report but it just didn’t execute. Predictable and bland. Some good moments and style at times. Chris and Rebecca had good acting but…

My prediction and rating going into this is based off the trailer. Seems predictable: dude is blamed for the murder for whatever reason, even tho he probably didnt physically kill her he feels guilty cause he wasnt present in her life. Probably finds closure, proves hes innocent
🫎🫎 Honestly, i thought the acting was mediocre in this. This non-linear spoon fed narrative gave me almost no room for imagination. I think this movie did do well with fast pace storytelling to induce anxiety and stress, however, the unoriginality in score, script, and commentary on AI was…

A different type of movie. using AI and 📷 from today's tech to use to find clues was interesting and concerning at the same time. a couple twists that I didn't see coming and a fun truck chase scene. loved the police air bike. nice to see an attempt to be original in today's hollwood.
The only thing disappointing about this movie is that no one else was in the theater. It was interesting from beginning to end and even kept my wife's attention! Don't listen to the people who say it is no good. They are all wrong. This is a big Blockbuster movie with incredible actors and a great storyline yet with a lot of heart and emotion. Highly recommend.

More than anything, this twisty dystopian thriller commits to the jittery anxiety of doomscrolling.
The work of everyone involved — from the sleepy performances to the crew doing an okay but never exemplary job — suggests a first draft, a sense of wanting to get the thing out and move on. At every minute of “Mercy,” you can practically hear the filmmakers saying: “Eh, it’s January. Good enough.
Taking place in real time, Mercy mercifully moves along fairly briskly. But after it’s over you’ll definitely feel the need for a digital detox.
