It has so much potential and just falls flat at every opportunity to be a good movie in the time of awful movies.
Any couple would enjoy it :)
Instead of gags, we’re treated to endless observations about love, commitment, romance, parental responsibilities, and other well-trod subjects. None of this is particularly insightful or interesting.
To be fair: Maybe I Do is undemanding, painless and pleasantly diverting, and has the saving grace of never trying too hard for a cheap laugh. There are quite a few undeniably funny lines, many of them made all the more amusing by the perfect-pitch delivery of the pros in the cast.
Despite its A-list cast, can’t escape its shoddy writing and worse filmmaking.
