Synopsis
From Marvel Studios comes “Doctor Strange,” the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place—a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns thatthis is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange—armed with newly acquired magical powers—is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

Dr. Strange in IMAX 3D was an incredible experience! Because of how much of a visual masterpiece the movie is on its own, seeing in IMAX 3D is a MUST!! 😁 Not to mention, you just become so much closer to Strange and the Ancient One watching the movie this way. I had a really great experience tonight. Doctor Strange is truly a deep and spiritual film about overcoming ego and finding something greater than yourself. Belief. 💜

Back in 2016, I was aiming to experience Doctor Strange in IMAX 3D atAMC Theatres. Unfortunately, that never happened. Luckily, thanks to Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary Film Festival, I was finally able to experience it to the fullest because, for me at least, the main attraction is always the IMAX-formatted footage, which enables me to see up to 26% more picture.
