"Happiness never produced a beautiful melody." This is the most diva anyone has ever diva’d in this lifetime. Angelina Jolie is simply ethereal. Her acting is insane in this and her vocals blew me away. The cinematography is undoubtedly the icing on the cake. Every shot…

first time i tried to watch i felt asleep and yeah that says a lot about the experience of watching this, great performance from Angelina but i think the movie is very boring

will not deny the beautiful production of this film, but this was all that it was good at. angelina’s talent is spectacular, but even she couldn’t save this film from its own dreadful dullness. ik this a biopic, but there is nothing interesting in the way they presented her life.
This film is visually stunning, beautiful cinematography, gorgeous sets and costuming. Despite being slow it’s really a treat for the eye but it’s almost like the movie loses itself in all that beauty. I felt like I only learned bits and pieces about Maria but nothing substantial

Maria was cinema—in my opinion. The cinematography was stunning, and the set designs, combined with meticulous attention to detail, were truly breathtaking. Angelina’s performance is Oscar-worthy, and the film itself deserves multiple accolades for its exceptional production.
One of the most moving and emotional films of the year for me. Angelina Jolie delivers a career best performance and the film being about mortality and artists having to accept waning abilities deeply resonated with me. Also beautifully shot and the score was incredible.

My heart was full watching the love pain Maria carried until the last days of her life, adding the faded fame and ability to sing which drove her insane!
