Tell me why I enjoyed this so much? For a Troma film, this was pretty tame. The story is batshit and silly, but the effects were actually pretty convincing, and the acting, though over the top, not terrible. Tom Atkins salvages the script as best he can, while Bruce is hammy fun.

I had no idea Bruce Campbell was in it but he’s about as campy and ridiculous as he needs to be. No idea what the sequels are like, I doubt I’ll find out soon
