Synopsis

Fathom Events and Warner Bros. Entertainment are bringing Little Shop of Horrors The Director’s Cut to select cinemas on October 29 & 31 only. This special event includes an exclusive introduction from Frank Oz and the rarely-seen original ending! Business is bad at Mushnick’s Flower shop. Shy Seymour and brave Audrey will soon be unemployed. That is until Seymour pricks his finger and a sickly little exotic plant gets its first taste of human blood. The plant spurts ten feet tall. As horticultural interest in “Audrey II” sprouts, Mushnick’s business takes off. But fresh blood must be found—and people start disappearing. Love and business bloom at a hilarious yet bloody cost.

i dont know if it was the theater or the copy of the movie. But the whole movie was poor quality. the picture dull. the sound was muffled. my dvd copy is superior in everyway to this theater version. other that that, it was fun seeing it on the big screen.

enjoyed seeing the directors cut. did not enjoy the fact that I had to move sets because Atom and the theater both sold the seat.

The Little Shop of Horrors is a thoroughly original adaptation, if that's possible. With its toe-tapping cadences, its class cast and its king-sized cabbage, it's destined to become a classic of camp comedy. It's vege-magic.

This is the kind of movie that cults are made of, and after Little Shop finishes its first run, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it develop into a successor to Rocky Horror Show, as one of those movies that fans want to include in their lives.

This is the kind of charming motion picture that can be viewed repeatedly without ever wearing out its welcome. With several triumphant musical numbers, an original villain, a smart and witty script, a cute romance, and a new, upbeat ending, this Little Shop of Horrors offers countless delights during its 94-minute running time.
