Sadly, poor decisions that realistically would never happen. Faulty equipment and faulty ships wouldn't be like that. Too many holes ruined immersion.
suspense for sure, depressing and the ending was terrible
For all its flashy trappings, weighty ruminations and zero-gravity floatings aboard the International Space Station, Life turns out to be another variant of “Alien,” though without the grungy horror and grim fun. In space no one can hear you snore.
While the bracingly bleak climax will come as a surprise to pretty much nobody, it still comes with an efficiently grisly pay off.
Life jolts audiences with relentless ferocity, but it’s not interesting.

Did You Know?
- The movie was inspired by Alien (1979).
- The astronaut "North" has her name in Russian below her English name. It is shown translated as the Russian word "Sever" which means the direction North. A name would surely be translated phonetically into Cyrillic, not fully translated into its Russian equivalent. This would look more like "HOPO" (with a vertical line through the last "O" to give the character for "F" (closest to "th" in Cyrillic).
- Hugh Derry: Do you like peas?
