Sadly, poor decisions that realistically would never happen. Faulty equipment and faulty ships wouldn't be like that. Too many holes ruined immersion.

Taken on its entertainingly trashy terms, Espinosa’s film does most of the things you want from it quite well, at least until a gotcha ending which doesn’t getcha.
While the bracingly bleak climax will come as a surprise to pretty much nobody, it still comes with an efficiently grisly pay off.
