Synopsis
Kraven the Hunter is the visceral, action-packed origin story of how and why one of Marvel's most iconic villains came to be. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but al so one of its most feared.

There were some fun and original kills during the fight scenes and Aaron Taylor-Johnson did a great job overall. The story and flow was alright. Go in with low expectations and you’ll have a good time

Although the movie isn’t the greatest of all time, it’s not a bad movie. DEFINITELY better than Morbius and although reviews say otherwise, probably as good as the first Venom. There are some ridiculous parts but I didn’t hate the movie. Worth a watch

OMG, Kraven has officially become my new favorite superhero movie! From start to finish, it was packed with non-stop action—seriously, not a single boring moment. As an animal lover, I was so moved by how the movie brought a superhero to life who takes on real-world issues, like the hunting and mistreatment of animals. It really hit close to the heart. The effects and fight scenes were next-level epic. I loved the concept of Kraven living a nomadic life in the forest, building his own weapons from nature and using every tool he creates to fight. The raw, gritty fighting scenes, complete with bloody and gory moments, felt like watching a live-action version of Mortal Kombat—it was that intense! The actor was incredible, and the storyline kept me hooked the entire time. I can't wait to watch it again (and again)! I really hope they make a sequel because this movie left me wanting more. Definitely a must-see for any action or superhero fan!

Aside from the obviously unintentional humor, the quality of Kraven the Hunter is severely lacking. Perhaps that’s all the recommendation you need for some dumb fun at the movies.

Clocking in at a slow-jog time of 2 hours and 7 minutes, filled with howlingly bad CGI creations, green-screen scenes that would have looked rudimentary in the early 2000s and clunky dialogue, “Kraven” doesn’t even provide much in the way of camp value. It’s just an undercooked pile of steaming mediocrity.
