Blunt force trauma. I can’t remember the last time I was this shook by a movie. I came out half way through and cried. Watching this, you can feel the degree to which the Caucasian Americans of the 20th century of saw non-white races as objects to exploit, and it is sickening. I can’t imagine loving my husband and finding out his true colors. My husband whom I watched this with is white and was also disgusted and appalled by how horrifically the whites treated the Osage. He said, “I’m actually glad there was no redemption at the end. I mean, it’s sad. But that’s what this is. Sad.” All that said, I’m really glad that Scorcese and Di Caprio made this. It’s a nod to and acknowledgment of the dark, wrongful, non-distant past and how white Americans exploited the native Americans.
Captivating. Seemed like 1 hour, not 3. Appreciated not hearing the "F" word even once. Sad history.

It is, it has to be said, something of a stretch to believe that this regal woman would be drawn to a dullard such as Ernest, but Gladstone and DiCaprio manage to convince us that this is more than a partnership of expediency – it’s a marriage of real love.
I give Killers of the Flower Moon a mild recommendation. It’s too long and predictable. The saving grace is its performance across the board.
This is on first impression perhaps a very good, uneven film rather than an unequivocally great one.
