Let's face it, there really isn't a better way to watch "Kill Bill" than this. It was originally envisioned as a massive, four hour action epic, complete with full color massacre scenes, until Tarantino declared that it was too long for mainstream audiences and decided to…

Kit LazerJul 25, 2025I've got a lot wrapped up in this emotionally. It's a foundational moment in one of my very best friendships, and VOL. 1 came out just a couple months after I started working at Scarecrow, just full to bursting with references to movies I was just beginning to learn how to…

Quentins' mind will forever bleed iconic cinema that you will physically and mentally feel. The performances are so incredibly sharp. Thurman? Lui? and too many more. I couldn't tell 4 devious hours had passed. I always forget that I've watched part 2 (several times, over several years), so I watch…
Probably the best 2 film series great story great world building iconic characters Tarintino is so entertaining i probably don’t enjoy it as much as others but i see the hype weak 7/10
For all of his faults, Tarantino goes beast mode with this one. From start to finish it feels like you are watching a pure showcase of a movie star, it has been said verbatim for 20 years but Uma Thurman is a force of nature. This is damn near 5 hours of insanity and it is so well made; from…

So happy I was able to watch this movie in theaters maaaaaan. The most necessary 4 hour movie. Love both films for different reasons as they’re both different moods. 1st movie is an all out revenge driven action-packed cinematic masterpiece. 2nd movie is more story driven and an emotional roller…
9.6/10 It’s a goddam masterpiece. Not many movies can keep me engaged for 5 hours, but this one can. The action sequences are unbelievable and Tarantino’s vision is so vivid. The “Last Chapter” after the credits was super dumb. I don’t consider that part of the movie. Seeing this as once continuous…
Watching it seamless was something different in a very good way. Also the crazy 88 scene is color was bloody and fun. It seemed like it was a little longer and they cut some Sophie stuff to hide BB cliffhanger from volume 1. Also don’t recall the second attack on Sophie.

Easily one of the best theatre experiences in my life. IMO this is the best way to watch Kill Bill. Weaving these two films together makes it the overall plot and characters flow so well. Also my personal favorite film for cinematography. This is a must watch!
Absolutely a glorious theater experience! The first part is even better because of the extended animated sequence and I’ve found a new found love for the second part since before I saw it as inferior compared.

Whatever your feelings about Tarantino and his work, this is a tremendous visceral experience, with radiant colors, slate-somber black-and-white, and geysers of crimson blood. To quote the end of another Tarantino film, it just might be his masterpiece.
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair might not be Tarantino’s masterpiece, but it’s a brilliant example of a filmmaker with a deep-seated love of movies fully embracing his inspirations and passions in grand fashion.
With Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, [Tarantino] finally gets to complete his own work of cinematic archeology, and what he exhumes springs to life like the first time it was projected. Viva Kill Bill!
