Surprisingly a good watch. Not something I’d consider a classic but it’s definitely entertaining and funny. I think the casting is brilliant and the on screen relationship between the two main characters feels authentic and real. Rating H- 7/10 L- 7.5/10

i love this movie!!! i love Ryan Reynolds and again i absolutely love the movie soundtrack on this movie! I also this anna feris is so funny in this. I’ve always wanted the best friend t-shirt in this movie it’s so funny cute. I literally watch this movie many times a year!

Watched December 17th 2025 - 4/5⭐️ Not a traditional Christmas movie but such a funny rom-com that is heavily based at Christmas time Storyline is great and peak Ryan Reynolds performance in this movie. Also can’t forget Anna Faris just tying the whole thing together 😂

It was pretty funny. It wouldn’t have worked without someone as charismatic as Ryan Reynolds. The best scenes were between him and his brother played by Chris Marquette. I would watch a movie with the two of them bantering. They were hilarious together. Rest was okay.

Admittedly some of the jokes have not aged the best in this one but this is one of the most underrated Christmas rom-com hidden gems. This is also one of the early developments of the Ryan Reynold-isms that have shaped his iconic roles that we love today.
