Donnie Yen is awesome. The movie definitely has an agenda though. I'm part Chinese and have witnessed all ethnicities' bigotry, prejudice, ignorance and stereotyping. I feel this Up Man lacked the humility of previous iterations.
No words to describe... awesome movie!!
Loved it!!
Must see !! Just super awesome!!!
I love this movie, it’s really significant
Awesome
the best fight scenes of any movie out right now
Love the conclusion to IP Man. Sad to see it ending but it's a great movie collection I will have once it comes out on Blu-ray
Best movie to start off 2020
A great finish of the Ip Man bio films with Donnie Yen.
Love love love the Ip Man movies! Sad it’s over but they did a great job with “The Finale”
Loved the action hated the acting by the "Americans" they were just terrible. I'm glad for the action or else I would have hated it.
Donnie could do no wrong as IP 👍🏽
Wow, I was surprised with the theme of the movie and the fight sequences. Very intriguing and eye opening. The masters showed skills on the battle arena. So cool!
I loved every bit of this film . I can’t believe it’s the final one . Long live sifu yip man!
Donnie Yen!!!! This movie kicks so much @ss!
nice movie and actor donnie yen! simply the best.
does it have Chinese subtitles?
Great movie. Love the action.
The fight scenes are nicely choreographed and showcase that real Wing Chun moves could be lethal. 10/10
Best movie to start off the year. Great way to end the franchise! People today can learn a lot about racism just by watching this movie. So inspiring!!
A heart pounding on the edge of my seat each moment! Worth the time to watch in theater!
Great story telling in past films somehow this film only seems to retell his greatest feats. It seemed disingenuous to his other battles. Still a fan of all the films including this one
Metacritic
Flat-footed storytelling meets fleet-footed choreography and sumptuous production values in the untaxingly fun Ip Man 4: The Finale.
While not as strong, or nuanced, an entry as any of the three that preceded it, Yen once again proves at 56 to be something of an ageless wonder.
Given that a fair amount of creative licence has been exercised here, it is strange that Bruce Lee has such a small part to play.
