“because my dad promised me” my relationship with my dad is the most important one in my life, hands down. and this movie always strikes a chord deep inside, so emotionally heavy that i feel it might break, but in a cathartic kind of way. i’m glad i can always rely on it…

Rewatched this for the first time in a long time. Still pretty awesome but it was a little more absurd than I remember 🤣
ALMOST a love. VERY good movie. the entire sequence with dr mann was INCREDIBLY stupid. i hated it so much bc movies with antagonists with baseless morals and like no real motives for their actions make me so mad like what are you EOINGbut the rest of the movie was very very good
I'm sobbing so hard. I still can't believe the complexity and heartbreaking emotion and score and cinematography and cgi and plot and quality and everything. I just can't comprehend what happened and how I understood the jist of it. One of if not the best space movie of all time. The acting was…

9.9/10 Re-watched recently. One of my favorites of all time just an incredible movie. The filming by Nolan and the score are top tier. McConaughey and Hathaway were amazing. One of the top movies in the 2000s
Almost every aspect of this movie is absurdly well done, with Matthew McConaughey performing one the most emotionally devastating scenes I've ever scene. 9.5/10

100% worth re watch in Imax. Let Love guide your way home from the vastness of space and time. 🥲
Best Movie Of All Time!!!!!
Metacritic
Like the great space epics of the past, Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar distills terrestrial anxieties and aspirations into a potent pop parable, a mirror of the mood down here on Earth.
Black holes, relativity, singularity, the fifth dimension! The talk is grand. There’s a problem, however. Delivered in rushed colloquial style, much of this fabulous arcana, central to the plot, is hard to understand, and some of it is hard to hear. The composer Hans Zimmer produces monstrous swells of organ music that occasionally smother the words like lava. The actors seem overmatched by the production.
An exhilarating slalom through the wormholes of Christopher Nolan’s vast imagination that is at once a science-geek fever dream and a formidable consideration of what makes us human.
