SOL likedIn the Mood for Love“The past is something he could see, but not touch.” It's all about the atmosphere and mood. Gorgeous soundtracks, perfectly synced with mirror and window shots. But it’s slow and some parts left me confused. Like I couldn't understand what happened right before the ending scene.

Her (Cheung) gorgeously sad face and slow, lithe frame are the movie's hammer and chisel. One shot of her walking away from a rented room down a hallway is, all by itself, twice the movie of anything else currently in theaters.
