Synopsis

In this refreshingly modern coming-of-age story based on the best-selling book by Mason Deaver, a high school junior (Corey Fogelmanis) comes out as nonbinary and is thrown out of their family’s home. With nowhere else to turn, they move in with their estranged older sister (Alexandra Daddario) and her husband (Cole Sprouse).

Moviegoers are saying
This queer coming-of-age story has audiences celebrating Cole Sprouse's evolution into his 'dad era' as a protective brother-dad figure, while Tommy Dorfman's directorial vision creates what viewers call 'the cinematic antidote to conversion therapy.' Despite mixed ratings, the film resonates deeply with audiences who appreciate its brave representation and heartfelt family dynamics.

The pleasant, polished drama provides a compassionate take on a high schooler undergoing considerable change, its only debit being the arguably too-neat depiction of that transitional circumstance.

With warmth and sincerity, “I Wish You All the Best” becomes a reminder that kindness matters and that sometimes, the compassion of others can truly save a life.
