Sweet film about life stories with regardless of humor or sadness. Billy Crystal rocks but better yet Tiffany Haddish shines big time! I loved the script. Although there were some casting issues I had with this movie where I felt some actors were not up to par. I'm an actor so my criticism comes from understanding what choices the actor is making and if it works. Great job on the script. I loved it.

Here Today is the movie Crystal directs, a genial, monotone of good-heartedness that isn’t as funny as it wants to be or needs to be, but hits some truths about the subject of age and dementia, while maintaining its mild smile.

In a film where several of the major story beats fall somewhere between far-fetched and Tolkien-level fantasy, it’s impossible not to appreciate the raw human texture that Haddish brings to her under-written role.

Here Today is too peculiar and heartfelt to be truly bad, and it does make an interesting companion piece to Mr. Saturday Night, with Crystal working through same issues from an older perspective. Together, they feel like the work of an artist baring their soul in a sometimes unpleasant way.
