In depth (no pun intended) look into the world of big wave surfers. Lots of history and fascinating characters. Great surfing footage, especially the final scenes.

Really enjoyed it. Will definitely watch again!

Would be an excellent 30 minute movie. The "Acid Drop" ending was a depressing example of burning up huge amounts of gasoline with a helicopter, 4 jet skiis & a rescue boat just so one person can achieve his dream of machine enhanced surfing. All that CO2 they created further destroys the very reefs they surf on. Ironic or just disgusting?

Radical, philosophical, spiritual all in one movie… A fantastic film

As a former Hawaiian resident, I knew a few of the older guys. Worked in the surfing industry back then, so always wanting to see some friends.
