I kind of love this movie and I don’t know why. Kate Winslett kills it in this. Obviously, the writing was groundbreaking at the time. Branaugh’s direction and performance were very human. Idk if a movie like this requires a number score. It’s beautiful tho
Reading Shakespeare can be complicated & it's hard to picture some parts of the story. This movie is a good visual of the book. Although some scenes are hit or miss, the overall effect is of a potent story.

An amazing retelling. Actually made me so infatuated with Shakespeare. This is a lovely work of art and a beautiful homage. Just stunning and brilliant.
Read the book then watched this adaptation. I lived the movie but found some of the acting/scenes every funny as I feel Shakespeare would’ve wanted it.
