Yes, instead of going to see One Battle After Another I took my daughter to see her most anticipated movie of the year. Father of the year, I know. 😂😂. But really, this was cute. And my daughter loved it which is all that matters. ❤️
KevinOct 5, 2025Being a great #GirlDad is walking past ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER at the multiplex to go see this instead.
John DeMarsicoSep 15, 2025What a ride working on this movie was! My first credit as a coordinator :)

Pedro MelloSep 25, 2025One Dollhouse After Another double feature kinda goes crazy if you're the type of person who loves Paul Thomas Anderson and also thinks your dad disappears when he puts his hands over his face. Listen to me talk about One Dollhouse After Another on the Reeled In podcast…
Alex BurleySep 25, 2025Five stars and a heart simply because this was the first time I took my daughter to the movie theater. She’s two and sat like a champ and this moment will be burned into my memory as one of my core memories as the theater is my favorite place to go and I got to experience…

Soundtrack is the most random collection of bangers I’ve ever heard in a movie. The concept of giving the show some resolution was great but poorly executed. The story feels like a rip off Toy Story 3. Vera gives strong Cruella vibes. The end felt rushed and underwhelming. Kids had fun tho.
It’s honestly so hard for me to dislike something..but ABSOLUTELY not. Too many cats, the most random soundtrack I’ve ever heard, Gabby WAY too grown to even BE Gabby & insanely cringey. They also tried sliding in some adult jokes in (for the parents I think) & ts made me so ➡️

A cat-tastic hybrid Animation that conjures magical treats for kids, but not for adults.
I can’t really give an honest opinion. I went to go see this for my daughter.

Extremely inappropriate. Sexual innuendos have zero place in a children’s movie
I loved it my daughter stayed sitting almost the whole movie for a child who have autism it called her attention to the level where she stayed watching it
Metacritic
The movie, make no mistake, is a genial throwaway that skitters through incidents with a G-rated innocuousness that makes it perfect for a very pint-sized demo. Yet the design of it is captivating, and so, in a minor way, is the affection with which the film’s director, Ryan Crego, embraces childhood things.
It’s all harmless fun, other than the fact that parents will undoubtedly be forced to shell out money for cat ears for their children. Kraner is a suitably likeable presence and Estefan provides the requisite warmth as the grandmother.
What comes next is a case of sensory overload without substance, complete with nondescript pop songs and an array of outfits — each purchasable online! — for Gabby and the gang. Even Wiig, giving it her all as a modern clone of Cruella de Vil, appears somewhat shipwrecked amid the sugary material.
