  • Charley's motorcycle is a Honda "XL250S" which is a four stroke, but the engine we hear is a two stroke.
  • When Charley stakes Ed, the special effect of smouldering into a pile of ash is highlighted with cinders floating in the air. Several are clearly in Charley's face, in his eyes, etc. but he does not react at all.
  • In the finale, Jerry steps past several beams of light so as not to burn to death, but as he passes the last one to confront Charlie his right arms passes through the light with no apparent effect.
  • When Charley's mom's minivan was rear-ended after they had stopped, both of the van's front airbags deployed. Airbags are specifically designed NOT to deploy during a rear impact. Furthermore, the people would not be thrown forwards into the airbags, but thrust back into their seats.
  • In opening scene when commercial for Peter Vincent's is playing, Charlie can be seen in background as footage from their meeting is rehashed for the commercial.
  • When Charlie enters to Jerry 's house to save Doris, it is night. But when they leave the house the sun is shining.
  • Las Vegas is is a broad, relatively flat valley surrounded by mountains. the location of Charlie's subdivision is in an area of desert with low rolling hills. Not only does no such area exist around Las Vegas, there would be no way that subdivision could be built so far away from the city proper as there are serious issues with water in the valley.
  • How Evil Ed not only found the magician's suite, but even gets there is never adequately explained, especially since he has changed into a vampire by that time.
  • Charley goes to the Lee's home and before he is on the front door step the doorbell is ringing. Charley is mid stride when this happens.
  • When the gas line is ruptured and the fire ball is starting to be released the three people are leaping over the sofa in unison. The scene is shown from another angle and Amy leaps over the sofa after the other two are safely on the floor.

Spoilers

  • When Jerry is going past the security desk, the scene is playing out on the security monitors with Jerry's image removed. When the guard confronts Jerry, the video of him falling down is delayed a few seconds from what's going on. Many newer security systems are DVR (or web) based, which introduces a delay of a second or two between what the camera captures, and what is displayed on the monitor.
  • When Charlie stakes Ed, his hand grips Charlie's shirt but in the reverse it is round the back of his neck
  • Just after Jerry tells Charley that he has to stake a vampire through the heart, Jane, Charley's mom, stabs Jerry with the staked Realtor's sign. The POV is looking at Jerry and seeing Jane behind him, driving the stake into an area in the quadrant of his upper left chest and shoulder. But from then on, as Jerry twists around with the stake running through him, it's obviously through the middle of his torso - probably a direct hit on his heart.
  • In the finale, Jerry steps past several beams of light so as not to burn to death, but as he passes the last one to confront Charlie his right arms passes through the light with no apparent effect.
  • No mention is made of the assistant who was brutally and bloodily murdered in the magician's suite. It's doubtful that a casino would cover up the murder of a guest act's employee, especially one done in so gruesome a manner.
