Loved it! Quirky, funny (if u like dry, dark humor) raw, original, etc... They did an amazing job. From the actors, to wardrobe. Everything flowed. I enjoyed the mom and daughter dynamic, their bond and similar humor. The teens witty remarks didn't phase mom. My only complaint, is lack of detail. But, in saying that, the story is basically seen through the eyes of teens, who aren't too keen on detail or consequences. So in that aspect, details don't really fit the story. It had a Juno-esc vibe. I'd catagorize it as a "coming of age, dark comedy" Great movie!!

Mistaking provocation for insight, and failing to sell the presumed heroism of its cunning central character, the movie grows less involving with each step. It can't make Erica Vandross' fate matter, but in Deutch it gives us a motor-mouthed wonder who commands attention.
