Never before has a film so eloquently captured the feeling of driving to McDonalds at 3am.

love is fleeting. it can be experienced in the smallest of moments; the length of a song, one night together, a videotape. we're all just passengers floating through each other's lives. some of us make a bigger impact than others, but in that moment the emotion is raw and…

this movie was mainly just vibes and people chainsmoking cigarettes but it was gorgeous
la cinematografía es bastante peculiar y experimental, muchos 🚬, sentí que le faltó profundidad fue un poco vacía

comfort film. in all honesty, one of the best films I’ve ever seen, there is so much art to interpret here it doesn’t make sense to watch it only once. 10/10
Sometimes you don't have to understand everything, like the story in this film. The last 10 minutes lets you think about the world around you and your position in it. This film is vibes on multiple levels, cinematic work of art. A new comfort movie Now this is what you call art!
visually great and the fact that it was almost completely hand camera is incredible however that’s the reason why it was hard to watch for me… i think it’s the best typa movie to rewatch cause there isn’t any huge plot and u can just enjoy the atmosphere and cinematography

I’d be lying if I said I fully understood it but it was interesting. The movie feels like a deep dive into troubled strangers memories with their live commentary attached to said memory. If there were a theme It’d be the complexity of human connection, desire and adulthood.
A rich sequel to Chungking Express, but it wasn’t as compelling. The narrative and cinematography are great but the objectives of each character are what make this not as enjoyable as the former. I still really like this film nonetheless and it feels good to watch. 8.2/10
