A spoof that crosses Downton Abbey with Airplane! and Monty Python, Fackham Hall follows lovable pick-pocket Eric Noone as he lands a job at a unique English manor house. Moviegoers are saying
Fackham Hall delivers exactly what its 'Airplane! meets Downton Abbey' tagline promises - a rapid-fire satirical comedy that spoofs British period dramas with everything from Lady Gaga jokes to Tolkien references. While audiences are split on whether every gag lands, most agree it's a refreshingly silly throwback to studio comedies that dares to go full absurdist, complete with micro-penis jokes and literary puns that somehow work together.

Tom Felton as you’ve never seen him! Jimmy Carr delivers laugh out loud comedy through out. Be sure to watch for the comedic Easter eggs in the background of scenes. I’m going again to make sure I caught them all.

Hilarious! If you’re a fan of Airplane and that genre of movies, you’re going to love it. Totally goofy, totally weird, totally funny!

Fackham Hall holds its own as the first of its kind — and carves out a brand-new niche in the satire landscape.

Sending up costumey, upstairs-downstairs tropes, the movie seldom lets five seconds pass without a wisecrack, pratfall or sight gag, sometimes all three stacked on top of each other.

Like most movie spoofs, this one relies on quantity over quality, meaning that if you don’t find one joke funny you can rest assured there’ll be another one just a few seconds later. The team of five writers pack so many visual and verbal gags into the proceedings that some of them inevitably land, compensating for the profusion of groaners.
