John Doe dislikedElfI literally felt physical pain for the short amount of time I watched this film, and I still, all these years later, physically cringe anytime I see any merchandise for it. I still have yet to recover.

William Luckenbach likedElfI saw this for the first time again in years and it surprisingly aged pretty well. The jokes still land pretty well for the most part and Will Pharrell’s Buddy The Elf is endearing as ever. Definitely not a masterpiece but I had fun with this movie. 7.5/10

Ferrell makes the damn thing work. Even though he can't get naked or use naughty words, there's a devil of comedy in Ferrell, and he lets it out to play. Director Jon Favreau has the good sense to just stand out of his way.
